On Sunday 7th January 2018, the 10th exhibition of nativity scenes in hidden places of Gradež ended. It was attended by around 1.800 visitors.

On Christmas, during the nativity scene exhibition, something special happened. Our youngest were surprised by the visit of Father Christmas who, during their walk around the village, offered them small and sweet gifts.

The chairman of our association and the leader of the exhibition Marko Šavli opened the 10th exhibition of nativity scenes on 17th December 2017 at 17.30. The exhibition was blessed by Minister Janez Selan from Škocjan.

On the 27th October 2017, in a TV programme Alpe-Donava-Jadran on Slovenia 1, a Slovene national television channel, there was a presentation of our fruit drying house and was also translated into German and presented on TV Bavaria on the 5th November.

The 15th jubilee of the Dried Fruit holiday on the 17th September was once again successfully organized by the members of our association.

On the 13th September 2017, two members of our association appeared in Dobro jutro (Good Morning), a TV programme on Slovene national television, where they showed how to prepare a dish with fresh cucumbers.

Damjan Petrič and other members of our association planted an ecological non-hybrid sort of corn which has been in use for many generations.

On 9th September the members of our association took part of an educational excursion to Pohorje (hills) and Savinjska dolina (Savinja valley).

Members of our associations attended an event called A Mosquito Sunday on the 3rd of September. It took place at Stara cerkev (Old Church) in Ljubljana.

On Saturday 24th June 2017 our society organized the sixth event under the old lime tree in our village. A few years ago, we revived this old village tradition with the purpose of bringing the village people together in the centre of the village where they talk and sing old songs.
