On Sunday, September 20, our members — with the help of external collaborators — once again successfully organized two traditional society events: the Hike through Trubar’s Native Parish and the Dried Fruit Festival. Hikers and visitors were very pleased with our efforts and the offerings, and we were proud to receive their praise.

This year's event was held in the yard of the hosts and members, Jelka and Damjan Petrič, under two linden trees on Friday, June 19th, with performances by Krheljčki and the Vigred (Spring) Quartet.

On Saturday, May 9th, we took part in a excursion of our association to Gorenjska. We visited the Pustotnik farm and cheese factory, and toured the Visoko mansion and the underground fortress of the Rupnik Line.

On Carnival Saturday, February 14th, we were once again delighted by the children's carnival procession in Gradež, led by Petra Jakob Merljak and Miha Merljak.

Our association, as part of the Slovenian Tourist Board, once again presented itself at the Alpe-Adria fair, which took place from 4 to 7 February at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The eighteenth nativity scene exhibition was held from December 21, 2025 to January 5, 2026. At the opening, 365 nativity scenes were on display, and by the end of the exhibition, the number had increased to 371. As every year, there were a wide variety of sizes, shapes, and made of all possible materials, and many were new.

On Friday, December 5, Santa Claus also took time for our children and stopped by the fruit dryer. He delighted the children from Gradež and Turjak with symbolic gifts.

This year, more than 250 children from five different elementary schools visited us, along with their teachers, for whom we prepared various programs at the request of the school management. Several of our members took care of them (leading, explaining, and serving).

On Sunday, September 21, we successfully held the Hike by Trubar`s birth parish and the main event, the Holiday of dried fruit. We heard nothing but praise from hikers and all visitors to Gradež all day long, so that in the evening, despite our tiredness, our smiles did not fade.

This year too, our event, Evening in the village, was held on Friday (June 20th), as Saturday evenings are very "busy" with other events in our area at this time. The Krheljčki and Zagorica Boys from the Dobrepolje valley performed.
