Until January 5, 2025, you can see the 17th Exhibition of nativity scene in the hidden corners of Gradež in the idyllic (still) snowy village. At the end, on January 5 at 5:30 p.m., there will be a short concert and an exhibition and tasting of the Christmas bread.

You will see more than 300 cribs in houses, in chapels, cellars, granaries... and outdoors, even in an imitation of an underground cave. They come in a wide variety of sizes and are made of all sorts of materials, from dough and wax to concrete and steel. The authors are locals and from other Slovenian places, many of them were also brought by the villagers from abroad. For several years, it was the largest exhibition of cribs in Slovenia in terms of numbers, and we strive to have as many new exhibits as possible every year.

On occasion, you can also warm up with a hot drink and buy homemade goodies for New Year's gifts.

Guided tours are possible from Monday to Friday from  4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and during weekends and holidays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Advance notice is recommended for larger groups.
