Our association prepared the 16th exhibition of nativity scenes in the hidden corners of Gradež. From December 17, 2023 to January 7, 2024, 281 cribs of various shapes, sizes and materials were finally on display. 

On December 17, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., the exhibition was opened by the member of the management board of the association, Roman Jeglič. At the opening event, Christmas carols were sung by Krheljčki and the parish choir from Škocjan for a pleasant atmosphere.

Our old friend Vlado Nunčič entertained with the pleasant sounds of the "lajna" and the interesting medieval instrument obrekelj on December 26, 2023 and January 2, 2024. At the end of the exhibition, the Borovničke and Alegria singing groups thrilled with their refined voices. At that time, visitors were able to try loaves of Christmas bread from the porter. Since they liked it very much, the sliced ​​pieces were quickly eaten.

As every year, the exhibition was visited by many visitors from all over Slovenia. Members of the mountaineering association from Slovenska Bistrica, the tourist association from Zadvor, and older scouts and members of Karitas from Cerkne also came to the tour by bus. Guided tours took place around the village at certain times every day, and visitors could have refreshments and buy local delicacies for gifts. Old and young alike were impressed by the exhibition and the hospitality of the locals.
