Before the rain and considerable cooling at the beginning of the school year, we successfully put under the roof the organically grown millet.

Harvesting was again a lesson for us, the city children, and we still do not know enough about this task. Since the reapers were also four "masters", with the help of us, the three "apprentices", the work was completed in two hours, so we were quite proud of ourselves. The task of the men was to remove the wooden poles and nets, that protected the millet from the birds, and to drive the millet.

In the evening after the harvest, we gathered at the »metev« (means rolling bundles with feet), which was also joined by the new president, so he was traditionally thrown into the mowed bundles. The work (sift millet …) was completed by the most experienced Stane, and the companionship ended with a mandatory meal.
