On the 22nd of June, our society organized the seventh evening in the village, which was attended by quite a few villagers despite the bad weather.

In her introductory greeting, Vice-President Jožica Zabukovec recalled the memories of the old times, when men and boys gathered under the village linden, talked about farming, girls ..., drank a glass and sang. She wished us a social evening with warmly bonding and introduced the performers: the quartets Zvon (The Bell) and Mlin (The Mill). The singers have delighted us with many national songs and also with their playfulness. Although the rain forced us to "improvise" a little under the roof of Damjan's outbuilding, there was no bad will. You will read more in the September Trobla.
