For many years, this has been the numerically largest exhibition of nativity scenes in Slovenia.
The nativity scenes are display in houses, small chapels, cellars, granaries… and in open air, they are smaller than one cm and sometimes enormous. We can’t come up with any more ways of making the scene, we have tried everything. The authors are the villagers and also people from other Slovene towns, in the last years many cribs have been brought from abroad.
At the beginning and end of the exhibition we prepare:
- guided tours to all the scenes
- process of making the festivity scene is put on display (if it is possible)
- holiday market
- Christmas concert
- hot drinks and something for the hungry.
At the end of the exhibition there will be also an exhibition of "poprtnik" (Christmas bread).
