Field trips and workshops

In the fruit drying house and on Zabukovec’ farm, workshops are organized on traditional fruit drying and storing, as well as on hand-making toothpicks and wicker baskets.

For primary school pupils, special field trips and workshops are organized. Pupils work in groups and switch work after they have done one task. This program is called from soil to table and is a way of presenting the ecological fruit production and processing on a mountain farm to the children.

  • From a pip to fruit products
    (wildlings, grafting, fruit trees and fruit gardens, production of juice, marmalade, stewed fruit, dried fruit, brandy, fruit wine, apple cider vinegar)
